FUNCTIONAL TRAINER + 3×3 RACK
TWO TRAINING SYSTEMS. ONE COMPACT FOOTPRINT.
DUAL 90.7KG STACKS • TRUE 3×3 FRAME • 11-GAUGE STEEL • ADJUSTABLE PULLEYS • INTEGRATED STORAGE
FUNCTIONAL TRAINER
Dual 90 kg selectorised weight stacks power two independently adjustable cable stations. The freestyle pulley arms adjust vertically and side-to-side, giving you enormous freedom of movement for presses, flys, rows, raises, curls, extensions and functional exercises.
HALF RACK
The heavy-duty 3x3-inch, 11-gauge steel frame transforms the same footprint into a serious barbell training station. Add the appropriate J-cups and spotter arms and you've got a platform for squats, presses and other Olympic barbell movements.

FREESTYLE PULLEY ARMS
MOVE THE CABLE. NOT YOUR BODY AROUND THE MACHINE.
Unlike a conventional functional trainer where the pulley simply travels vertically, the FTR's pulley arms can move up, down and side-to-side.
That gives the user much greater freedom to set the cable position for different movements and body types.
The polished aluminium pulleys and 6.2 mm nylon-coated aircraft-quality cables complete a premium cable system designed for smooth, consistent movement.
This absolutely needs a close-up video/GIF or image sequence showing the pulley arm moving.
DUAL 90 KG WEIGHT STACKS
INDEPENDENT. UPGRADEABLE. BUILT TO PROGRESS.
Each pulley operates from its own 90 kg integrated weight stack, so two people can potentially perform cable exercises independently or one athlete can train both sides simultaneously.
The FTR uses a 2:1 cable ratio, so 90 kg selected at a stack produces approximately 45 kg of resistance at its corresponding dual-pulley handle.
Need more?
The stacks are upgradeable beyond their standard 90 kg configuration.
BUILT ON THE 3×3 STANDARD
The FTR uses 3×3-inch uprights with 1-inch holes spaced every 2 inches, compatible with its 3x3 accessories

What is the Force USA Functional Trainer Rack?
The Force USA FTR combines a Functional Trainer, Half Rack, Pull-Up Station and Suspension Trainer in one compact strength-training system. It uses heavy-duty 3×3-inch uprights and dual selectorised weight stacks, making it suitable for customers who want both cable and free-weight training from a single platform.
How heavy are the FTR weight stacks?
The FTR comes standard with dual 200lb / 90.7kg weight stacks—one for each side of the Functional Trainer.
Can the FTR weight stacks be upgraded?
Yes. Each 90.7kg stack can be increased to approximately 113kg / 250lb or 136kg / 300lb using optional 50lb weight-stack upgrades.
What pulley ratio does the Force USA FTR use?
The upright Functional Trainer pulleys operate at a 2:1 ratio. This means 100lb loaded on a stack produces approximately 50lb of cable resistance. The 2:1 system provides increased cable travel and is particularly well suited to functional movements, flyes, lateral raises and other exercises where smooth cable movement is important.
Is the FTR also a Power Rack?
The FTR incorporates a Half Rack rather than a full four-post Power Rack. With compatible J-Cups and spotter arms, it can be used for barbell exercises such as squats, bench presses and overhead presses.
Does the FTR use 3×3 uprights?
Yes. The FTR is built around 3×3-inch uprights with 1-inch holes and 2-inch spacing. This is an important advantage for customers wanting to expand their rack with compatible accessories.
Can I use third-party 3×3 attachments on the FTR?
Many compatible third-party attachments can be used because the FTR follows the common 3×3-inch, 1-inch-hole, 2-inch-spacing format. However, attachment dimensions and clearances can vary between manufacturers, so compatibility should always be checked before purchasing. Force USA specifically notes that older G-Series attachments are not compatible simply because they are Force USA products.
What are the dimensions of the Force USA FTR?
The assembled exterior dimensions are approximately 125cm wide × 110cm deep × 220cm high. The interior training area is approximately 110cm wide × 84cm deep × 205cm high.
How much does the FTR weigh?
The assembled machine weighs approximately 410kg, giving it a substantial and stable training platform.
How much ceiling height do I need?
The machine itself is approximately 220cm high. Force USA recommends a minimum ceiling height of about 239cm / 94 inches if you want enough clearance to perform a full pull-up with your head above the handles.
What attachments are included with the FTR?
The current Force USA specification includes pull-up handles, J-Cups, spotter arms, tricep rope, a pair of knurled single handles, ankle cuff, carabiners, magnetic band pegs, pegboard storage pins, barbell holder and additional hardware/storage accessories. Exact inclusions should be checked at time of purchase because regional packages can differ.
Does the FTR include a barbell and weight plates?
No. The integrated selectorised cable stacks are included, but a separate Olympic barbell and Olympic weight plates need to be purchased separately for barbell training.
Does it include a Smith Machine?
No. The FTR is designed around a Functional Trainer + Half Rack configuration and does not contain a Smith Machine. Customers wanting an integrated Smith Machine should consider one of the Force USA All-In-One Trainers such as the C10 V2 or C20.
Can I do lat pulldowns and low rows on the FTR?
The adjustable Freestyle Pulley Arms allow a wide variety of high, mid and low cable exercises. Force USA also offers optional accessories—including lat bars and seating options—to expand the FTR's exercise capabilities.
Can I add dip handles?
Yes. Force USA lists Dip Handles as an optional upgrade rather than part of the standard base package.
Does the FTR have storage?
Yes. Storage is integrated into the machine, including a storage shelf, pegboard system, accessory pegs and barbell holder, helping keep cable attachments and training accessories organised.
How long does the Force USA FTR take to assemble?
Force USA estimates approximately 3–5 hours, depending on experience. Assembly can be completed by one person, although having a second person and a ratchet set can make installation easier.
Is professional installation available?
Yes
